NEW NEWS!
From San Diego to Kentucky, back to Brooklyn and a few places in between, 2021 has been a year of mobility, exploring, learning, exercise and creativity! This winter in San Diego, between bicycle trips to the beach and camping in the desert, I completed a Certification of Personal Training online through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
This Spring I got to spend a couple of months working on fencing, blackberry management, tractor driving and other, general ranch work in Oregon and South Dakota with my family. My sewing machine has been continuing to buzz this summer in Kentucky where I am acting and props mastering for my 5th summer working at Pioneer Playhouse (along with some cameos in costuming, lighting, sound and set work). This Fall I make my glorious return to New York City Stagehand life! I am looking forward to a return to working between the lobby's of Broadway, the sets and lighting rigs of off and off-off-broadway, film and television art departments and the load-ins and outs of corporate and events. Additionally, I'll be continuing to explore movement, exercise and personal training as well as getting back to more acting, directing and parsing the literature of live theater. This fall, we're throwing all the spaghetti at the wall!

old NEWS!
The national news cycle has been so loud this past year it has obscured all my wonderful news. While in New York City I have been focused on my profession as a stage hand, working run crew lighting on an Off-Broadway show when not loading in projects as a crew chief, carpenter, electrician, 'a/v utility engineer, art dept, and lighting designer.
This April I left the run crew position to light The Wave by Jon Kovach at Sag Harbor Theater. While there I heard about, applied for and shortly after was accepted to volunteer teach with Artists Striving To End Poverty at the Shanti Bhavan School in Tamil Nadu, India. All together, I spent 4.5 months in Asia visiting India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Jordan, Palestine, Israel and Dahab, Egypt. 38 scuba dives, countless hostels, buses, planes, and bouts with diarrhea later I'm back in Brooklyn working load-ins and strikes while waiting to meet a muse.

THEATRICAL STAGE HAND
Comfortable in management and aesthetics. I have experience with film and media, music, travel and as an actor, workshop instructor and production technician. I believe in breadth and having a wide focus; the forest and the trees, together, on the same team. I'm currently focused on live events carpentry and electrics (lighting) while I get to know New York City better. If you'd like to learn more, you can contact me here.
